2 tbsp peanut butter
2 tbsp vegetable shortening
1 2/3 cp M&Ms
3 cp corn flakes
In a heavy medium saucepan, heat peanut butter and shortening over low heat, just until melted. Add M&Ms and stir constantly with metal spoon, pressing candies with the back of the spoon to break them. Continue until chocolate is almost melted and flecks of colour candy coating remain. Remove from heat.
Add corn flakes and toss gently until thoroughly cooled. Drop by tspfuls onto lightly greased baking sheet. Let stand until set, about 30 minutes.
