2 cp flour
1/2 cp sugar
1/2 cp packed brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
dash salt
1/2 cp butter, softened
3/4 cp milk
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
3 bars milk chocolate candy, cut into pieces
1 cp maraschino cherries, drained and halved
1 cp coarsely chopped mixed nuts

FROSTING:
1/4 cp butter
2 cp icing sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
2-3 tbsp milk

Grease and flour 15x10x1 inch baking pan. Combine all bar ingredients, except chocolate, nuts and candy. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed, or until smooth. With spoon, stir in last 3 ingredients. Spread in pan. Bake @ 350 for 25-30 minutes or til light golden brown.

In small saucepan, heat 1/4 cp butter over medium heat til light golden brown. Stir constantly. Remove, stir in icing sugar and vanilla. Add milk, blending til smooth and of desired spreading consistency. Quickly spread over warm bars. Cool 1 hour or til completely cool.
