1 1/2 lb hamburger
1 medium onion chopped
1/4 – 1/2 green pepper, finely chopped
large tin stewed tomatoes
1 can tomato paste/sauce
salt, pepper, garlic, oregano, parsley (1/2 tsp each)
3 cp cottage cheese
2 beaten eggs
1 large pkg lasagna noodles
1 pkg mozzarella

Prepare meat sauce first. Brown meat in frying pan. Add onion, pepper, tomatoes, sauce/paste and spices. Cover and simmer 1/2 hour over low.

Beat 2 eggs in bowl. Add cottage cheese, parmesan and 1 tsp salt. Cook lasagna noodles. Strip mozzarella into thin slices. Layer as follows in lasagna pan:

1/2 inch meat
1 layer noodles
cottage cheese mix
cottage cheese
mozzarella, etc.

Place in 375 oven, uncovered, for about 1/2 hour, or until bubbling throughout.
