2 pkg yeast
1/4 cp warm water
1 1/2 cp milk – scalded, then cooled to room temp
1/2 cp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp cinnamon
2 eggs
1/3 cp shortening
4 1/2 cp flour
1/4 cp melted butter
40/60 mix sugar and cinnamon for topping

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add milk, next 6 ingredients and 2 cp flour. Blend for 30 seconds, scraping bowl constantly. Beat 2 minutes @ medium. Stir in remaining flour til smooth. Cover and let rise til double, about 1 hour.

Turn dough onto well-floured board. Roll around to coat with flour (it will be soft). Cut w/ floured cups. Lift carefully w/ spatula and place 2 inches apart on greased baking sheet. Brush with melted butter. Cover, let rise til double, about 20 minutes.

Bake @ 425 for 8-10 minutes or til golden. Brush with butter and shake in cinnamon sugar.
