What do you think of when you think of the Galapagos Islands? Gigantic, ancient turtles? Finches? Charles Darwin? Creation vs. evolution?

Why are the Galapagos Islands so mysterious?

There’s always been a mysterious draw for me to the Galapagos Islands – mostly because of the many theories of evolution Darwin developed and claimed to “confirm” with certain species of animals living there. But also because of the pure, raw beauty that is an isolated island out in the Pacific.

Galapagos Islands: A Different View (edited by Georgia Purdom) takes you on a journey into the island. Scientists, doctors and authors alike (from Ken Ham, Andrew Snelling, John C. Whitcomb and John Morris, to many more) present to you, from a biblical perspective, a breakdown of Darwin’s theories in order to understand and stand against them. They remind us of God’s hand at work, his design and plan for creation all along. That animals were to reproduce after their own “kind”, and to spread and inhabit the whole earth.

How can I learn about the Galapagos Islands from a Christian perspective?

Galapagos Islands: A Different View is just the resource! You will be equipped with the biblical facts, scientific research, and truth to confidently refute what Darwin taught to be true.  us understand how a scientist’s worldview guides them to arrive at many of the conclusions they have, apart from God’s word.

Through the book’s beautiful photographs and facts you will learn about the variety of landscapes (from volcanic rock to unique flora), the many climates the island experiences, the diverse ecosystems, and the amazing creatures that live in the Galapagos Islands. You will get up close and personal to many kinds of animals we may never be able to observe ourselves.
