It has been a crazy almost month since I last posted! I bet you didn’t really notice though :0) Well, I’m back in action now, ready to hit the ground running, because there’s no better way to get back into writing than to JUST DO IT!
These past three weeks have been filled with family time
Florida sunshine
meeting, creating and solidifying some great friendships,
sharing, caring, learning, laughing and joying together.
And now, this week, is my blogiversary! In May 2008 this blog started out as a place for me to blog and keep track of recipes. As I made connections around the internet, I started to become more interested in writing, and God has really grown this into HIS space, with tremendous opportunities to bless others and to be blessed by their exhortations and encouragements. I would never have seen myself here 4 years ago, but this is ALL GOD.
To celebrate this week, I’ll be having some giveaways! First off, since Mother’s Day is just next Sunday, I’m going to be giving away a copy of “The Ministry of Motherhood” by Sally Clarkson.
This is a book I read last year that God has used to change my heart and my approach to the way I mother my children. Being available, ready and willing to meet my children’s needs in a way that is honouring to God and training them up in the way they should go, without getting caught up in the often draining repetition that is the day-to-day.
