2 cp flour
2 cp sugar
1/2 cp butter
1/2 cp shortening
1 cp strong brewed coffee
1/4 cp cocoa
1/2 cp buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
FROSTING
1/2 cp butter
2 tbsp cocoa
1/4 cp milk
3 1/2 cp icing sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Combine flour and sugar. Combine butter, shortening, coffee and cocoa over med heat. Stir and heat to boiling. Pour boiling mix over flour and sugar in bowl. Add buttermilk, eggs, soda and vanilla. Mix well on high speed. Bake @ 400 for 20 minutes.
In saucepan, combine butter, cocoa and milk, heating til boiling and stirring. Pour over brownies as soon as they come out of the oven. Cool.
