Today is Day 10 of the 31 Days to Clean Challenge. And appropriately, today’s post is about feeling overwhelmed.

After spraining my ankle last week, I have done absolutely ZERO in the challenge, apart from writing my post about confronting laziness. A little ironic as I have spent 1/3 of the challenge on my butt – not by choice of course! :0) So I feel a little bit like I’m drowning.

Of course, I am still able to do the reading -so instead of working on my house, I’m working on my attitude. What am I learning? To let go of control. To schedule and stick to a schedule. To confront the laziness that tries to seep in. To be content with what I have been blessed with. But most of all, to focus my attention on my God.

So, while my house atrophies further and I twiddle my thumbs a bit more and spend some extra quality time with my kids, I hope you are all having a great time doing the challenge, and I look forward to seeing some of your updates and what you’re learning!
