1 can (19 oz) lentils, drained and rinsed
1 can (19 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
2 large tomatoes, seeded and finely chopped
1 bell pepper finely chopped
1/2 bunch parsley finely chopped
5-6 green onions, finely chopped
1/4 cp olive oil
1/4 cp fresh lemon juice
3/4 tsp salt
pepper to taste

Combine all ingredients, except olive oil and lemon juice in a large bowl. Toss to mix. Beat lemon juice and olive oil in small bowl until thoroughly blended. Pour over salad. Toss to coat.
